I was given full information and made to understand the various outcomes of each choice and why each one could not guarantee 20/20 vision! This was really helpful in managing my expectations and I'm thrill with the outcome. i have fun distance vision which is equal to winning the lottery and am looking forward to my six week post op check up with my optician to find out the reading prescription that will be needed - so much happier not to be wearing various-focals 24/7!!

Excellent friendly & professional care

At Freedom Vision I was able to ask any questions I wanted, and got detailed explanations. I was able to know the name of the surgeon I would have, and appreciated the half hour online consultation with him prior to surgery. I was able to look up the surgeon's profile, experience etc online. Primarily I wanted to properly know all my lens options, which I was not told or offered at my initial Spa Medica NHS consultation in Poole - hence why I decided to pay privately. I was told at Spa Medica that all the surgeons are locums, and they cannot tell you who will be operating on you, and hence you can't look up the surgeon's experience, training and expertise, or meet them online beforehand, which is less reassuring.

Comfortable room, very attentive and kind staff and the food was good!

The hospital is airy and bright, it has a modern contemporary vibe. The staff and friendly, helpful snd welcoming. The tea & coffee facilities are great. Parking is easy. The medical secretaries are helpful and always call back if not immediately available.
