Waiting times for outpatients was short, staff were friendly, room for day surgery was comfortable. My surgery was at 4.00 p.m and returned to my room after recovery at 6.00 p.m. I needed to eat before being discharged and the chef had gone home. I asked for a sandwich but there wasn’t one available so I had 2 pieces of toast. I think if a patient has surgery late in the day at a minimum I sandwich should be stored for them to have post surgery.

Was referred to OSD for MRI and Radiology by West Herts Hospital. The appointment day and time were very convenient after work hours. Easy check in and very little waiting time. The staff were very friendly and informative. The process was speedy and without issue. 90 mins later was out of the unit. Most impressed, but as expected from a private unit. Hope they send me back for further treatment in due course.

My experience of the Wilmslow Hospital before, during and after my ear surgery has been excellent. The information I received about my pre-operative assessment and what to expect on the day of surgery was extremely useful and helped me to feel at ease. On the day of my operation, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. All the people involved in my care were friendly and attentive and they couldn't have done more to ensure I was well looked after. The facilities and cleanliness were exceptional and I was made to feel very comfortable during the time I was there. I would definitely recommend this hospital to others.
