I recently saw Mr Khan for patella tendinopathy. From start to finish he was professional and reassuring. He explained the condition and the options available to me, listened to my concerns and ultimately put my mind at ease. I loved the diagrams he drew and how he pointed out the problem on the MRI scan. I came away feeling that really knew what was happening inside my body and what I needed to do to get back on track. I thankfully came through the operation with a weight bearing knee and after 6 weeks I’m walking around crutches free, with a little way to go in terms of muscle rehabilitation. Throughout the entire surgery process i was given all the relevant information and all my questions answered which put me at ease & reassured me that i was in good hands. The day of the surgery Mr Platt went through the surgery process again & i felt very relaxed about the forthcoming procedure. Honestly if i had to have more surgery, in his dedicated field, i would not hesitate to go back.
