I went to see mr Sood after having a very unsuccessful partial knee replacement which left me with an unstable knee and unable to walk properly. Not by him I should add , He completely understood my situation and put my mind to rest that he would be able to get me sorted with a full knee replacement he explained exactly what would happen I felt completely confident that he would get the result I was hoping for and he did ! I came to Gus with a calf injury which had stopped me running eight weeks out from a marathon. Gus diagnosed the issue, helped me strengthen the muscles to prevent it returning and gave me a training plan that got me back on track. He’s knowledgeable, practical and realistic. He understood I didn’t want a zero risk plan - but to get to the event and complete it (which I did with no pain and a time I’m delighted with). My overall rating for Mr Rao is excellent, this is evidenced based on my own personal experience not only currently but with historic leg/knee issues I have suffered. Mr Rao takes time to fully diagnose, carefully explaining the symptoms/problems and proposing a full prognosis. He consistently displays characteristics of knowledge and professionalism that you would expect of a orthopaedic consultant at the top of his game.

Prof Wilson is very good, he has a friendly manner and it is easy to ask him any questions. He also goes out of his way to help on other issues.
