The waiting area is a bit cold and clinical. It could be more welcoming and comfortable. It would also be nice to wait somewhere away from the main reception area

Orri has been an incredibly impactful experience for me, within the stream, in group therapy, and in my one to one spaces. I have had a great care team that I really cherish, and I am going to miss being here. There were some things I didn’t like and somber therapists I didn’t connect to, but overall it’s been very transformative for me. I think there can be more groups that are varied and streams should be listened to when they have preferences for certain EDAs and therapists, but a lot about Orri is great.

Receptionists can sometimes be a little brusque, but otherwise very good overall.

The combination of group therapy, one to one sessions and continued aftercare is really working well for me, after years of battling my addiction, I am finally discovering some peace. I’ve learnt so much about myself and my triggers and I feel much more equipped to deal with the cravings my addiction brings.

Entering the lady at reception says straight down the corridor to room 6. Door at the end of the corridor says waiting room 3 so I go back and ask and she says yes. Going in, room 6 says do not disturb. But I’m wondering if it’s been left like that by accident. There’s the sound of wind playing but no sign explaining why so I spend a few minutes trying to figure out if it’s wind or a speaker. This could be handled by explaining clearly where to go and what will happen - particularly important to people who are neurodivergent, which is why I’m here. I’m anxious enough without extra cognitive load. She could say “Straight down the corridor into waiting room 3, the doctor is in room 6. If it shows do not disturb then wait and he’ll be with you shortly. There’s a speaker playing wind sounds to try to put you at ease.”
