I meet Dr Vasilikosta in 2022 when I decided to change my life. Dr. Vasilikosta explained to me all the risk and the benefits of having this surgery and how my life, my health and my future will improve. I started with 155kg on the day of surgery today after 1 year and 6 months my weight is 77,2 kg. Dr Vasilikosta is not only a very good doctor , he listened his patients, he try to help them and he is always there for us. Thank you for all you did for me Dr. Vasilikosta.

I had severe aortic stenosis, and was scheduled to have a new aortic valve using TAVI procedure. After consultation with four radiologists the TAVI consultant decided that for me there were unacceptable risks, and it would be better to replace the valve using minimalist surgery and he introduced me to Roberto Casula who explained that replacing the valve by surgery was a safer and better option, and furthermore the valve would last for life (and even if it did not, then TAVI could be used). Dr Casula was very reassuring and I had every confidence in him. The operation was done at the Cromwell hospital London, and I was only in hospital 5 nights. It is now 6 weeks since the operation and am recovering well, and having physio. Am nearly back to normal. I am very grateful to Dr Casula and his team.

From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. I am recovering really well and have huge admiration respect and gratitude to Professor Ameet Patel, I thank you and all your team. Paul D

Provided great care, excellent surgeon and doctor - I have a big lipoma and before the procedure explain to be what it was and what was the best course of action. She even came to say high in my bedroom a few hours before the surgery to encore I was ok. Post surgery was great - my scar is healing beautifully and quite minimal and discrete. Beautiful work overall!

You know when you're going to have operation that is goto be painfully. Mr Monk put me at ease through out. It was done so well yes it was painful for just two days with the painkillers they gave me just uncomfortable. He is a such a good surgeon I could walk and drive after week
