From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. The excellence, extraordinary level of skill and profound human qualities of Mr. Imber manifest for me from the moment that I first met him at his office following a terrifying 6-week diagnostic journey. Together with my wife and son, he took the time needed to carefully explain his assessment of my case and the forward treatment alternatives. We elected that I should undergo a complex surgery with a lengthy recovery time after he laid out the alternatives, the relative risks and his forward recommendation. Mr Menezes is a very experienced and skilled laparoscopic surgeon. I was not the easiest case, but he got the job done laparoscopicly and as a result my recovery has been quick. He understands all the risks and goes through them at pace, so you have to keep up! But you trust him and he delivers.
