Had a telephone consultation with professor Nardo, as always very perfessional, he listened and explained everything I needed to know and made me feel so much better and positive. Dr Parikh was absolutely brilliant. She took the time to explain all the procedures and planning with my husband and I in person, and always responded to my emails. Going through IVF and finding an egg donor is so emotional and difficult, but I felt very looked after by Jaya and the great time at The Lister. The whole family's concerns were addressed but at the centre was the patient and her concerns a truly exemplary consultation in every way. To take a case that had long been beyond the reach of NHS dogma; to deconstruct it and then elementally re-combine the components around a single evidence backed core explanation, was an absolute object lesson in how academic and free-thinking medicine can be conducted to the benefit of the patient, their family and support networks. This consultation was a masterclass in common sense practice triumphing over outdated concepts and barriers in thinking. We cant thank Dr Brennan enough for returning self belief and faith in herself back to our daughter.
