The Lister is an excellent hospital where I’d be happy to be a patient again if I ever needed to be (hopefully not of course!).

Smooth from first video call to surgery. I had my surgery 1 month ago so it is too early to comment on the results as my vision is fluctuating still (one eye ok, the other having halos and glare sometimes intense). Staff is friendly and responds to your questions. Some small improvements could be -On the day of surgery I was asked how much grams of sedative I wanted and this is not an information a patient would/should know. I wished the nurse asked the question differently and advised the grams herself bssed on my answer. - staff informs you that of some common eye side effects (e.g. halos, dry eyes) but not on what this could imply for the rest of your health. For example, because one eye is experiencing more the side effects and the other not, there's an imbalanced vision and I have been suffering headaches since my surgery. I had not considered this (and as a patient I may not know to ask for this) and wished someone informed me of this possibility beforehand.

The process was quick and smooth.

Dr Roos and Dr Murthy are both very professional skilled surgeons. They make an excellent team and you are getting 2 experts which makes them unique. They discussed the best way forward for me and were realistic about the results so there were no false expectations. As well as being skilled surgeons the after care they offer is second to none. They set up a WhatsApp group so I could message them if I was concerned anytime about anything post op which was very helpful in early recovery. I have seen multiple other 'top' surgeons who made mistakes which caused me to look botched. I finally found people who not only managed to successfully correct the mistakes that past surgeons but who also genuinely care. I could not recommend them highly enough.

The place is clean, good location and easy to find address; the staff is punctual.

I am not happy that after 5 weeks I still not see clearly out of my right eye

Through 2 hip replacement operations and the aftercare, I could not have received better treatment, delivered with the friendliest concern and natural empathy. The administrative support of her team matched her care and attention at every stage.

Very clean and approachable. Good waiting area for children to keep them occupied

I have received treatment and had operations on several occasions at The Lindo Wing and I always feel relaxed and confident .
