Dr. Din took the time to answer all my questions before my procedure in a clear, detailed and kind way. He was reassuring about my worries but honest about all possible outcomes, leaving me able to make an informed decision as to whether I went ahead. The actual procedure was carried out so smoothly with every step explained. I felt as though I was in very safe hands! The outcome is amazing - more positive than I could ever have imagined. I’m so glad I took the plunge to go ahead with the procedure. The admin team, reception staff and the nurses assisting during and later when the stitches were taken out were also kind and reassuring. Mr Aho understood my concerns and how this impacted on my quality of life. His history taking and examination was exemplary. His explanation of the options to consider were clear and concise. His bedside manner was excellent and his surgical expertise second to none. I breezed through the HoLEP procedure and was back at work after 4 days and in the gym after 5 days. The procedure was not associated with any untoward discomfort. I now have a symptom score of zero, compared to a very high score prior to surgery. Couldn’t have asked for a more thorough and insightful consultation. I was referred to Dr Sahota for a second opinion after presenting with rare symptoms and an inconclusive diagnosis. Dr Sahota had no hesitation over the cause though and clearly explained the reasoning for my symptoms, along with various treatment options and their pros / cons. Whilst in clinic, Dr sahota even made the additional effort to seek opinions from colleagues on the effectiveness of treatment options, and I walked away with a clear plan of action, feeling extremely reassured.
