Mr Guryel spent considerable time explaining my treatment and showing me my x-rays which very informative and re-assuring. I was very impressed that he had all my notes to hand and seemed to be fully acquainted with my medical history.

I contacted Ali whilst abroad having dislocated my radius and ruptured ligaments at the elbow. He was able to give me good advice about what I needed to ask for locally, and arranged for an MRI immediately upon my return. He was reassuring throughout the recovery period that the ligaments would rejoin, and realistic about the time that this would take. He reviewed it a couple of times to adapt the brace and ensure that the progress was as expected, and has been happy to spend time in explaining the medical side of the injury and how the recovery would work. Thankfully, everything mended as Ali predicted. Unusually for a consultant, but not for him, Ali has been approachable throughout on Whatsapp and has updated me on the status of the scans as he has had the results rather than waiting for an appointment. I am happy to recommend Ali as a consultant in a similar situation - very competent, communicative, approachable and friendly - a refreshingly different experience from the norm. Thanks Ali.

On the whole, a lovely consultant. The reason for the 4 stars was a very slight language barrier, and also explanation of surgery in recovery when still groggy from anaesthetic. Not his fault, just time restraints. Happy for him to perform surgery in the future, if needed?

Reassured with his manner, professionalism and confidence. He , his team and Justin's team were very good.

Nev was superb throughout the whole process, very thorough and explained everything clearly ensuring I fully understood before moving on. His level of expertise and experience really came across which helped reassure and put me at ease for the ACL Reconstruction I was to undertake. Following an xray I was treated immediately, it fixed 90% of the problem and relieved the pain. A follow up appointment fixed the remaining minor issue. I was hoping for a miracle and I was very surprised to get one.
