I was treated with care, compassion and given a lot of detail and support and time for all my questions by Mr Prezerakos. I opted for a discectomy after several consultations and physiotherapy as the first step of treatment, but was in too much pain to walk, so had the surgery and am pleased to report all of my pain has gone and the surgey was successful.

My daughter has scoliosis and the curve in her spine was severe. Mr Lucas has straightened her up nicely and we are extremely pleased with the result. The care she received throughout her operation was outstanding. Mr Lucas was very kind and put us all at ease. Although we were apprehensive about the surgery he made us feel confident that everything would be ok and it was! My daughter was walking the next day and within a few days she was also managing to take the stairs. I would happily recommend Mr Lucas to anyone seeking a spinal surgeon.

Having contracted COVID-19, which subsequently led to the development of long COVID, I underwent weekly Perrin Technique sessions with Rakhee for several months. After a warning from the neurosurgeon & oncologist who had been monitoring the regrowth of my meningioma in September 2023 that it required surgery & as it was a second operation it was at high risk of stroke, bleeding, bone infection, going through old scar tissue, the tumour was pressing against a large vein. My daughter suggested I sought a second opinion, we chose Mr Shoakazemi who also specialises in my type of brain tumour.  He confirmed…the risks were very high indeed, the brain tumour had grown too big for fractionated radiotherapy and surgery through the old wound of some 20 + years ago was the only option. We found Mr Shoakazemi to be extremely approachable, professional, calm, warm & informative.  I feel incredibly lucky to have had the faith on a date said to be the unluckiest day in the yearly calendar …Friday 13th October to undergo surgery with such a gifted neurosurgeon. I am (thankfully to Mr Shoakazemi) walking straight, talking straight & feeling fully blessed.

I had a severe and very debilitating attack of Bbpv vertigo last week and could barely stand up. Emyr was able to provide a clear diagnosis of the problem and successfully performed the correct manoeuvre to rectify it. I felt relief straight away and some of the other treatment has helped address tightness and pain in my neck and back.
