I was recommended Rick and Jack by my GP: I had asked him for a dietitian to drop 10kg promptly as I was tired with my weight despite moderate/intense physical activity and wanted better blood test results. Rick and Jack have been very clear and available since the beginning. The diet plan was detailed, clear and to the point. Without ever feeling hungry, but with a drastic change to some wrong habits, I quickly started losing weight and within 6 months I had lost 11kg. The workout plan was as clear. The weekly checkin was very helpful in keeping the discipline. Throughout the period, Rick and Jack were always promptly available to provide advice, especially on food and nutrition, but also on workout activity. Both important. I strongly recommend them to whoever wants a steady, long lasting change of weight, physical/mental well-being, overall improvement of their long term health conditions.

For years my father struggled with diabetes and an unhealthy relationship with food, which resulted in increased medication over time and consequently a deep conviction that this was the only way down the line. Previous consultations with dietitians didn’t result in much success as their approach was deprivation based, lacked proper personalisation, and did not cater well for the human aspect. As a result, my father found it difficult to accept and adapt. Dr Filip’s approach, however, was totally different. His sessions are very educational and strategy based which empowered us to navigate the challenging tides of adaptation with renewed hope, clarity, and confidence. Throughout the sessions Dr Filip focused on clearing misconceptions and providing a methodical approach on how and when to prepare and consume meals. All questions were welcome - no question was treated lightly or seen silly, and delicate questions were answered with a highly valued level of detail, care and compassion. Beyond meals, Dr Filip gave keen attention to understanding daily routines and lifestyle and used these to tailor a realistic overall health plan, setting manageable objectives with highest impact one step at a time. Before signing up with Dr Filip, we were hesitant that this would bear fruit. My father is now well into his fourth month since starting the programme, and we haven’t seen him this disciplined before. What I love most is that Dr Filip built good rapport with my father which resulted in him accepting advice and consistently showing up for the sessions, which are conveniently offered to us remotely. Very thankfully, we are already seeing positive results and hope to be able to reduce medication in a few months’ time. We are very blessed to have Dr Filip and we personally highly recommend him for quality care and support.

Rather than making me completely change what I eat, Rania worked with me to still eat the things I like as well as try new things. If the things I liked were not helpful to the goal I am trying to achieve, she would recommend alternatives.

Tai Ibitoye is a very conistent dietician. She makes the process of cooking and eating healthy food easy and fun as well as affordable. She has really helped me alot to start using whole foods like yam, sweet potatoes, gari, cassava, plantain, beans, pounded yam, yam and a wide variety of vegetables in my diet. Due to working with Tai, my diet consists of mainly Nigerian staple foods as mentioned above!! I also eat millett, quinoa and bulgur as well as cous cous. I no longer feel the need to cook with palm oil or a lot of oil and really only cook with oilive oil when i make my own bread and moinmoin. I really enjoy my food and love cooking healthy food and take the time to cook often so that I can maintain my wellbeing and health. Through working with Tai my diet conists of eating more protein like mackerl and salmon, eggs and beans and nuts. With her support, I rarely eat any red meat or even poultry and if so it is chicken and turkey breast. She has helped me a lot Thank you Tai you are doing a great job!! Feel supported and respected!! I also eat fruit and nuts consistently as well as follow portion control.

I had a successful programme with Tracey and it changed some of my eating habits and enhanced others. I had an additional bonus of weight loss and improved gut health. I also have the knowledge that my overall health is good and how to manage my diet, vitamins and supplements in the future. It has put me in a good position for the coming years.
