He delivered my diagnosis clearly & calmly and usd his expertise & experience to expand on the differernt pathways we could explore to manage my condition moving forward. He allowed me time to process the information & ask questions which I felt were explained honestly & with my best interests at heart. Once we had decided together that surgery was the way forward, Simon went out of his way to ensure his team kept me well informed & there after got my surgery & Pre- op appointemnts schduled within exceptional timeframes . Mr von Ark was very good at explaining the pros and cons of having surgery, and at no time did I feel pressurised into having surgery.

He has a good bedside manner and was very understanding of my phobia which made discussing my procedure difficult for him.

I found Mr N Patel to be very informative, who explained every step of my assessment and ultimately my spinal operation, throughout my time with him. He was very approachable, who when I had any questions or concerns, was very professional in his responses, as such to be able to reassure me or put mind mind at ease. Compared to other Surgeons who I have had experiences with, I also found him to be be very down to earth, which made my whole experience far easier to deal with, as it was like dealing with a individual who had known me for some time.
