After more than a year of leg pain often severe I had tried the usual physio, excercises etc. to no avail. My local surgery could only offer many more months of waiting for a specialist referral. Having been to Sulis in the past and very satisfied with private and NHS treatment there, I requested a private apppointment with Neuro Surgeon Mr Edward’s. I found him attentive, helpful and informative. He shared his thoughts on my diagnosis and referred me for an MRI scan which all happened within a short space of time. After reviewing the scan and discussing the results with me I opted for him to refer me for a Root Spinal Block. The spinal block took place at Sulis, again I was impressed by the timings and patient care. I am pleased to say that this treatment has been a total success. I am now back leading my normal busy life pain free. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Edward’s.

I had terrible sciatica and I saw Richard Edwards at Sulis Hospital on a number of occasions. He went through my options with me in a clear and thorough manner. He talks a great deal of sense and makes it much easier to make the right decisions. I am now very much on the mend largely thanks to him!

Mr Edward’s gave good explanations and advice. His friendly and easy manner gave me confidence to ask any questions. His secretary Leanne was very efficient in dealing with the admin and my questions. Overall a very good experience.

Wonderful experience. I'd heard this procedure could be like a miracle and in my case, it was. It was life restoring. From being confused, muddled and wheelchair bound, I am now coherent and virtually independent once more. I cannot speak more highly of the whole experience.
