Very kind and thoughtful

Dr Sankaran was the consultant for our C-section in November 2023, at the Westminster Maternity. She was caring, professional, responsive throughout the pregnancy, and took our concerns seriously by seeing us whenever we were worried. She was also very accommodating with the scan times in the evenings. The surgery itself went great and like clockwork, and the recovery period was quite short. Even after the surgery she came and checked on us and the baby several times. We are very grateful for her work and for guiding us through this process, and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Many thanks to Dr Alex for her good work. Thanks to her, I am calmly waiting for my baby, who will soon be born. She also helped me with the translation of my documents from Russian to English. As I came from Ukraine and I have a complicated diagnosis "Trambocytopathia", thanks to her translation my appointment with the haematologist was quick and without problems. Thank you very much

Dr Velauthar is very friendly, patient, and thorough. She answered all my questions carefully and made me feel at ease. I cannot rate my experience with Mr Nick Wales high enough. From early pregnancy up until now (weeks after my baby has been born), Nick was, and is, always approachable, professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring. He also has a great sense of humour which helps with anxiety on the day of the birth! I wanted an elective c-section and Nick supported my request completely. I was given my date and time very early on in my pregnancy so I could plan everything prior to and after the birth perfectly. The whole procedure went so smoothly and like clockwork! The entire medical team were magnificent and the one-to-one midwife support in your own room after delivery was wonderful, and I believe this to have helped getting breastfeeding off to a great start and which has continued to go well for me. My recovery has been incredible, I was home after 3 days (although I could have stayed in hospital for longer), and I was doing things quite unhindered when home (being a single mum this was a relief). Nick also comes to check in on you while you are still in hospital which is great and at no point do any of his visits feel rushed. From the moment your baby is born, they stay with you (even when I was wheeled back from theatre my baby was in my arms). This is truly the best way to have a baby.
