Our first interaction with Spyros happened when I decided to go for an extra ultrasound in addition to the standard maternity checkups offered through the NHS. The results from my NHS maternity checkups were usually sent by post without explanation and it was difficult to discuss anything with a consultant since the care is usually midwife-led. Spyros’ ultrasound screenings and care really reassured me as to the health of my baby and myself and made the journey to delivery much more pleasant and relaxing. Prior to the care with Spyros, we had talked with 3 other private consultants, as well as contacted 3 further consultants. Spyros by far was the best match for us. My pregnancy turned out to be high-risk and so I was glad I had found Spyros before then already. He always laid out his plans clearly with detailed reasoning, thoroughly explaining why he recommended certain steps. He was very patient, answering my and my partner’s questions, and we never felt excluded from the decision process. His explanations were detailed but at the same time easy to understand. He was very accommodating in terms of our schedule and easy to contact and quickly replied when any concerns occurred. In summary, he is very professional, thorough, patient and always listens to the patient, I highly recommend him. We are very happy he delivered our child.

I couldn’t recommend Kenga more highly. She was extremely empathetic, calm, informative and professional - everything I wanted and needed in the lead up to, and during my c-section. Kenga did everything she could to make my experience as comfortable and smooth as possible and I am eternally grateful given how nervous I was.
