Very pleasant and knowledgeable although I did not feel listened to due to brevity of appointment

My whole experience with Mr Nanavati has been excellent, from consultation to surgery and aftercare. The results of my surgery have made such a positive difference, pain reduced, better balance and aesthetically my foot looks so good. When I first came to Doctor Sian, I was in a very bad way with prolapsed discs and chronic pain, as a result this had impacted my mental health to a very dark place. I had lost the ability to live my normal life because of pain and fear. Doctor Sian was the first person to acknowledge my situation properly after years of being treated less well by other Doctors. He explained our options clearly and was always easy to talk to. Over the time I have been seeing him, I have slowly recovered from being in terrible pain, to being in a much better physical state, and my mental health has massively improved. It was because of Doctor Sian that I have been able to have my life back. Thank you Doctor Sian.

Referred via MSK. I did not want a surgical opinion but was persuaded as it was suggested that other options may be available. With reference to the consultation, dismissive of symptoms and inaccuracies with scan? Was reviewing a scan from 2018 not 2024. Felt patronised and humiliated by general attitude. Was not interested in symptoms or effects on daily life. Summary letter sent to myself and GP reflected the above. Interestingly letter had wrong address and I was referred to by the wrong name in the letter? As an NHS staff nurse I feel sorry that this kind of poor service exists.

Dr Harris is very understanding, extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the menopause, very easy to talk to and so reassuring. All my worries & concerns were discussed in detail. 💯 recommend for anyone struggling with the menopause.
