My experience was excellent. He made me feel relaxed and answered all my concerns.

A very knowledgeable and approachable surgeon, however it was quite disappointing that my concerns regarding the ongoing knee instability following the ACL reconstruction surgery he performed hadn’t been taken into account in a timely manner. I had to seek an opinion from another consultant, who arranged the MRI and other appropriate tests, and confirmed that the surgery wasn’t completely successful.

I was fortunate to be under the care of Mr Ahmad after a femoral nailing procedure. On my follow up appointments he has been empathetic and informative about what I could expect during recovery. He has encouraged me to attempt further exercise to improve my mobility, which now means that some of the arthritic pain I also experienced has also improved and I have a much higher level of mobility than expected. Mr Ahmad always put me at my ease with his friendly manner which I appreciated, especially in the early stages of recovery.

I have been very impressed with the professor and he has sorted out the previous work on my foot that was not successful and I am now able to walk again

My hip operation was very successful, Mr Shah did a very good job on me and after committing myself to my physio, I was very quickly mobile and pain free. All staff at Spire were amazing. So good I went back to get the other hip done! What a great surgeon and great team around him. I could not have asked for a better experience in any other way. From the moment I met Hugh I felt completely comfortable that I had found the right surgeon to replace my right hip. The whole operation was seamless, the after care superb and the outcome fantastic. A minor scar, barely any pain straight after surgery and up and about getting my life back straight away.
