Overall, I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise in his field. He was able to address my concerns with clear and insightful information, which was very reassuring. However, I did feel that the appointment was somewhat rushed. I would have appreciated a bit more time to discuss my issues in detail and to feel fully heard. While I understand that doctors have tight schedules, a slightly more relaxed pace would greatly enhance the patient experience.

Prof Wilson is very good, he has a friendly manner and it is easy to ask him any questions. He also goes out of his way to help on other issues.

I wanted to discuss the possibility or desirability of a hip replacement, given that I have arthritis, and genuinely had no preference regarding whether to have the operation or not. He examined my mobility, discussed the situation with me, the pros and cons of operating or not, and concluded that I should continue with physiotherapy and not undergo the operation. Throughout the conversation, he came over as thoroughly professional, caring, and in command of his area of expertise. He gave me confidence in his decision.
