My overall rating for Mr Rao is excellent, this is evidenced based on my own personal experience not only currently but with historic leg/knee issues I have suffered. Mr Rao takes time to fully diagnose, carefully explaining the symptoms/problems and proposing a full prognosis. He consistently displays characteristics of knowledge and professionalism that you would expect of a orthopaedic consultant at the top of his game.

After being told by previous consultants, they won't do anymore for me, we came to see Professor Wilson, who had me diagnosed rapidly and found out a lot more than anyone else had recognised. I needed scans taken, and as we can not get them done in Scotland due to not being able to send them down to London, Natalie very kindly arranged 2x same day scans in London - amazing service! On the lead up to surgery, Natalie was so kind. She helped me overcome the thought of surgery and reduced my anxiety. Vlad was in touch also and kept us sufficiently informed. He also took an interest in me and tried to keep me relaxed prior to surgery. I had surgery under the care of Dr. Ronald Van Heerwaarden and Dr. Kristian Kley. They were super nice and had us well informed on the day of surgery and spent time with us answering any questions I had. Once surgery was over, we were visited by the surgeons again who kindly wanted to see me. They explained what they had done and were pleased with what they had performed. Professor Wilson advised me to get a Physiolab (which has arrived today) which helps significantly reduce swelling, and recommended staying at the Clavadel in Guildford for some days which I am more than grateful for the recommendation. I wouldn't have been physically or mentally able to have gone straight home from the hospital. Professor Wilson, Dr. Kley, and Vlad have all been a message away from help. The speed at which the team communicates is unparalleled. Now, 6 days after my operation, I've experienced the highs and lows of what a operation can do to you but the team nevertheless were very supportive throughout. I am now safely back home and am still getting daily followup messages from Vlad enquiring about my wellbeing and checking in with me. Now, that's what I call top customer service. I work in customer services myself and this really has been an amazing experience

Approachable and friendly. Surgery Explanation and after care while in hospital by Mr Hamilton no faults. Operation went well wound now nicely healed and very neat . Would happily go back to Mr Hamilton for further treatment if it were required and I Would recommend Mr Hamilton as an Orthopaedic Surgeon

This is the second time I have used Mr Bidwell for surgery, having previously had my right knee replacement operation done by him and found him to be superb in every aspect of surgery and after care. I would definitely recommend him.

Mr Bansal treated me with respect and agreed to treat me when other consultants were stalling and leaving me in great pain I wish to thank Mr Bansal for the brillaint operation on my right hip and look foreward to having my left hip replaced .

I wanted to discuss the possibility or desirability of a hip replacement, given that I have arthritis, and genuinely had no preference regarding whether to have the operation or not. He examined my mobility, discussed the situation with me, the pros and cons of operating or not, and concluded that I should continue with physiotherapy and not undergo the operation. Throughout the conversation, he came over as thoroughly professional, caring, and in command of his area of expertise. He gave me confidence in his decision.
