I was recently unfortunate enough to have appendicitis. I am very grateful for the care I received from Mr Flora, who displayed an high degree of professionalism, expertise, and compassion. He thoroughly explained the procedure, addressed all my concerns, and reassured me before and after. The surgery itself went smoothly, and I was positively surprised at how quickly I recovered. Mr Singhal took time to carefully understand my issue and perform appropriate tests to determine my underlying issue. He has a calm approach and was easy to listen and answer my questions.

I contacted Mr Al Chalabi via HCA after another consultant let me down, and I am very glad I did. He was able to see me for an initial consultation within 24 hours. The initial meeting was very useful, with Mr Al Chalabi explaining his diagnosis of my inguinal hernia clearly, giving me useful advice as to what not to do ahead my operation. He offered me an operation within a week of the consultation, but I took one two weeks later. His approach was excellent throughout - a good blend of professional and friendly. The operation went smoothly, and I have been left with limited pain and almost no swelling after the procedure. I almost feel lucky the first consultant let me down, and would recommend Mr Al Chalabi without hesitation.

Last autumn, I had my third procedure (over five years) with Miss Pissanou, and in my view, I could be in no better hands. Miss Pissanou is an expert in her field and her bedside manner is exceptional--warm and personable. She also engages you by taking the time to explain her thinking and recommendations. In general, her standards are very high, and she has my complete confidence. She will always be the person to whom I go to first for relevant medical needs, and I will continue to refer others to her.
