The recommendation of the procedure was clear along with clear assessment of risks both of the procedure and of not undertaking the procedure. He was available prior to the procedure and on release from ICU and clearly answered the questions that my wife and I had. He had provided contact details sound we have any concerns following discharge as well as access to a post operative support and a follow up consultation after day four weeks. As such feel and have felt well supported.

There is one word to describe the consultation with Dr Behar and that is exceptional. Arranging the appointment was very straightforward; the electronic onboarding process was simple, clear and efficient. The appointment letter arrived on the portal which we were sent after the referral. I instructed Dr Behar to review my mother the issues being: high blood pressure, episodes of dizziness with headaches and palpitations. Dr Behar reviewed the medical documents in advance of our appointment and discussed the range of options which might be causing the symptoms and a proposed speedy way forward to conduct investigations with a review thereafter. He explained everything clearly and calmly with positive reassurance about what might be causing the symptoms. Dr Behar's expertise in explaining the mechanics of what is going on in the heart was outstanding and we both came away with a full understanding of the condition. Dr Behar has an excellent appreciation of the patient's perspective.
