The recommendation of the procedure was clear along with clear assessment of risks both of the procedure and of not undertaking the procedure. He was available prior to the procedure and on release from ICU and clearly answered the questions that my wife and I had. He had provided contact details sound we have any concerns following discharge as well as access to a post operative support and a follow up consultation after day four weeks. As such feel and have felt well supported.

Dr Nijjer listened carefully as I explained the issue I was having. He asked lots of questions around symptoms but also lifestyle. He quickly came to a diagnosis after reviewing NHS test results and ordered several more tests to confirm this. He explained in great detail what was causing the issue, the treatment options I could take, his preferred option, and the likely longterm outcome of each treatment path. On the follow up consultation, post test results, he was again very easy to talk to, didn't rush me in any way and helped me choose the next steps that were suitable for me. A very good experience and a very knowledgeable cardiologist that I would happily recommend in a heart beat to any family or friends that needed similar cardiac advice or treatment
