After a desultory 6 minute phone appointment with our NHS GP for my 91 year old mother who barely concealed her disinterest, I was grateful to receive a recommendation to Dr Dan. The difference between the two experiences was chalk and cheese. We had our appointment online which was the easiest option for mum. The first big difference is that a 30 minute consultation with Dr Dan is standard. Sheer luxury! Dan actively listened, showed interest, he was both friendly and respectful, directing his questions to mum rather than me as her carer which pleased us both greatly. His responses were decisive, reassuring and crucially, compassionate towards an elderly lady who was more than a bit scared by her recent health challenges. He was willing to think outside the box on her health issue which required exactly that approach. We have had two subsequent follow ups and have been similarly delighted by the advice received. Dr Dan is skillfully assisted by Nathan who runs the The Wright Practice extremely professionally and with great good humour. I’m very relieved to have made the move from our NHS practice to Dr Dan.

We had been unable to control his full body flare for months despite using potent steroids all over his body for prolonged periods and moisturising him 4+ times per day under the instruction of eczema nurses and then a hospital allergy team. With Dr Martinez’s help, my baby’s eczema was under control within two weeks. His skin is now clear most of the time and the texture has completely changed for the better. We now only have to use steroids sparingly and not every day. Thank you Dr Martinez for your invaluable help.
