Excellent experience from start to finish. Mr Walczak explained everything very clearly, is very attentive and the whole process from diagnosis, discussing the options and through to completing the operation went very smoothly.

I’ve given Mr Abdul-Jabar 5 stars on all points. He explained what my problem was by showing me the x rays. He answered all my questions about how he would do the hip replacement and what to expect afterwards. On follow up we discussed my difficulty reaching my foot and gave further advice on that. His manner is calm, kind and extremely supportive. I hope not to need to see him again but will certainly return to him if I need further hip or knee surgeries in the future.

I recently saw Mr Khan for patella tendinopathy. From start to finish he was professional and reassuring. He explained the condition and the options available to me, listened to my concerns and ultimately put my mind at ease. I loved the diagrams he drew and how he pointed out the problem on the MRI scan. I came away feeling that really knew what was happening inside my body and what I needed to do to get back on track. I came to Dr Bownes for a second opinion on two MRIs of my knee. He did not provide a clear response to whether my ACL was damaged despite repeatedly asking him, and he did not seem worried my knee pain was left undiagnosed. I did not feel my concerns were heard during or after the meeting, or that he looked at the MRIs carefully, and he seemed to have made up his mind before looking at them. Dr. Bownes did not seem very interested in my case.
