Prof. John Mcdermott

Prof. John McDermott is a highly esteemed consultant endocrinologist and diabetologist. They provide outpatient services for adult patients with diabetes mellitus and general endocrine disorders. In addition to outpatient consultations, Prof. McDermott also offers inpatient consultations and services for investigation and treatment as needed. Prof. McDermott is dedicated to advancing the field of endocrinology through their involvement in clinical research. Their recent publications focus on chronobiology and cardiovascular disease in diabetes and endocrine disorders. They have also supervised MD theses on endothelial progenitor biology and chronobiology, and served as an internal and external examiner for MD and PhD theses at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Trinity College Dublin.
