The Weight Loss Medics

The Weight Loss Medics is a medical weight management service providing online consultations for adults living with overweight and obesity. The clinic delivers evidence-based care through consultant endocrinologists and specialist dietetic support, offering personalised treatment plans based on each patient's medical history, health goals and eligibility for treatment. We see people with PMOS (formerly know as PCOS), hypothyroidism, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure (hypertension) and other endocrine disorders associated with overweight and obesity. As dual accredited specialists in general internal medicine we also see people with other weight related medical disorders such as sleep apnoea, dyslipidaemia (high cholesterol), osteoarthritis and MASLD to support them in weight loss.

The service provides medical weight management using prescription medications (injectable and oral) where clinically appropriate, alongside dietary advice and lifestyle support. Patients receive a comprehensive initial assessment followed by regular follow-up appointments to monitor progress, manage treatment and make adjustments where required. The clinic also supports patients preparing for surgery.

The Weight Loss Medics provides ongoing care through scheduled online and in person reviews, allowing patients across Ireland to access specialist endocrinologist and medical weight management from home. The clinical team works closely with patients throughout treatment, with consultant endocrinologists and a specialist dietitian providing support to help patients achieve and maintain long-term weight management goals.
