Dr. Riza Ibrahim

Dr. Riza Ibrahim is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with over 25 years of experience in the treatment of vascular conditions such as deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, carotid interventions, aneurysms, and chronic ulcers. He sees private patients at Genesis Healthcare Center in Dubai Science park and Operates in Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, Kings College Hospital-Dubai Hills and Gargash Hospital.

Dr. Riza earned his primary medical qualification at Mangalore University in 1994 and completed his basic medical training. He then moved to the UK and gained a fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons, in addition to undertaking his specialist vascular training at renowned hospitals such as South Manchester University Hospitals and the Royal Liverpool University. Upon achievement of his certificate of completion of specialist training, Dr. Riza was appointed Consultant in 2006 and was later appointed Clinical Director for Vascular Services at the Pennine Acute Hospitals. He was also responsible for the management and development of tertiary vascular surgery across the Greater Manchester area.

Since his appointment, Dr. Riza has found a keen interest in carotid interventions and endovascular aortic and has authored several peer-reviewed research articles on the topics, which have been published in the UK National Vascular Registry. He is also a member of the British Society of Endovascular Therapy and the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland.
