Dr Babar Chaudhri is a Consultant Cardiac, Thoracic and Transplant Surgeon and an Associate Professor of Surgery. He studied medicine at the University of Cambridge, before extensive training in cardiac and thoracic surgery at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London and in Scotland. He also trained in heart failure, heart and lung transplanatation, mechanical circulatory support and complex aortic surgery during fellowships in Harefield and Freeman Hospitals in the UK and MHH, Hannover, Germany.
Dr. Babar Chaudhri is an expert in complex coronary, aortic, mitral and minimally invasive cardiac surgery having performed in excess of 6000 adult cardiac surgical operations and 3000 major thoracic operations.
In 2016 he was recognised for his work and voted India's Best Cardiac Surgeon.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR WITH UNMATCHED PROFESSIONALISM AND SUPERB SURGEON SKILLS TO MATCH. EXPLAINED TO PATIENT THE PROCEDURE IN TERMS A NON MEDICAL PERSON WOULD UNDERSTAND AND GAVE CONFIDENCE WITHOUT HIDING THE ASSOCIATED RISKS. EXCELLENT POST OPERATIVE CARE IN FOLLOW -UP CONSULTATIONS. THOROUGLY RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE CONTEMPLATING HEART SURGERY.

Dr Babar is an exceptional surgeon. Besides his successful track record in the OR, he is a very empathetic human, he listens and is ready to answer any questions the patient may have. He does not rush the appointment and really takes his time in objectively presenting results and connecting the dots - leaving room for the patient to digest and formulate his/her opinion on next steps. He takes care of his patients from the first day they come to see him up to the very last day when they’re discharged.

I was diagnosed with Nstemi in Aster Hospital Mankhool and was referred to Dr.Babar Bashir Chaudri. My first impression of Dr.Babar was that he was a professional with no nonsense attitude regarding his work ethics and environment, he was very straightforward regarding my condition and explained to us in detail about what should be our next step. I had taken second opinion from other cardiologists and all had given the same conclusion about my condition and what should be my next step. I decided to proceed with surgery with Dr.Babar, after a bit of research about him, also I really felt that the Doctor had good experience and was very confident. My open heart surgery was completed successfully in Aster Hospital Qusais and thanks to the Doctor and the supporting staff my recovery was quick. I would really like to say that Dr.Babar is a great surgeon and knows his profession really well.
