Dr. Naveed Rauf

Dr Naveed Rauf is a specialist cardiologist at Gargash Hospital with over nine years of dedicated experience in cardiology and approximately 18 years in the medical field overall. He completed his MBBS in Pakistan and went on to obtain his MD in Cardiology from King Edward Medical University, a leading medical institution in the region. Early in his career, he worked at Mayo Hospital in Pakistan, one of the country’s largest tertiary care centres, gaining extensive experience in managing complex cardiac conditions.

Dr Rauf also served as the in-charge cardiologist in Seychelles for two years, where he continues to work as a visiting consultant, further broadening his international clinical exposure. His practice focuses on the diagnosis and personalised management of a wide range of cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, ischaemic heart disease, dyslipidaemia, metabolic syndrome, congenital heart disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. He also evaluates common cardiac symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, fatigue, syncope, and shortness of breath, and provides pre-surgical cardiac assessments to support safe surgical care.
