Prof. Marwan Ghosn

Professor Marwan Ghosn is a leading Consultant Medical Oncologist at Clemenceau Medical Center with over 35 years of experience in Hematology and Oncology. He holds a medical degree and postgraduate expertise from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon, and the University of Paris XI – Kremlin-Bicêtre and Institut Gustave Roussy Cancer Center, France. Alongside his role directing the Cancer Center and heading the Hematology & Oncology Division at Clemenceau Medical Center in Beirut, affiliated with Johns Hopkins International, he serves as Director of the Hematology-Oncology Post Graduate Program and Chairman of the Hematology- Oncology Department at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut in Lebanon.

Prof Ghosn also holds a Master’s degree in Hospital and Health Management from ESA, Beirut, and a Master’s degree in the Quality Management of Units for Care Production from the University of Paris VII, Denis Diderot, France. Formerly Chairman of the Hematology-Oncology Department at Hotel-Dieu de France University Hospital for over 12 years, he remains active in clinical, medical, and research pursuits.

Alongside his clinical work, Prof Ghosn is the President of the Lebanese Society of Medical Oncology and participates on the Board of the Lebanese Cancer Society. He is an active member of various national and international scientific organisations, including ASCO, AACR, ESMO, ASH, EHA, SIOG, and AMAAC. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles and played a pivotal role in editing journals such as the "Pan Arab Journal of Oncology."

Prof Ghosn’s expertise includes research and clinical trials across solid tumours, particularly in breast cancer, urologic cancers, gastrointestinal tumours, geriatric oncology, and patients' safety and quality in healthcare.
