I have been seeing Dr. Candice Render for almost 3 years now. She is an excellent and experienced therapist that is understanding but level-headed. Dr. Candice knows how to find a good balance between improvement and working on mental health whilst maintaining a good rapport and conversational behavior. I have only good things to say!!

I had been going to Dr Jamilah for over a year. My experience of doing therapy with her has altered my life for the better.

Before starting any actual therapy, Dr Jamilah asked if I had any specific goals. I can confidently say that I have achieved them. But I know I'm still working on myself.

I used to be a very anxious character and would hyper fixate on the tiniest of details, which led to sleepless nights and disillusioned days.  

Dr Jamilah introduced me to compassion focused therapy. This school of thought allowed me to centre my psyche, to accept that everything is ok and accept my emotions for what they were. In turn I began sleeping better. I began appreciating my wife more. I learned to keep calm. I learned to control my fixations a little better.

Dr Jamilah listens openly and actively. Never judging, and always offering soft and caring support, allowing me to come to my own conclusions, rather than imposing her own. She is a very patient woman, giving all the time I needed. This in my opinion takes a lot of courage. She understood that some sessions I just needed to rant and lended a listening ear. Other sessions would be more hands-on, becoming somewhat of a conversation.

But still, at strategic moments throughout our many therapy sessions, she would offer her own two cents. But always in a way that brought what I had already known into words.

For now, I take all that I have learned to heart. I have stopped going to therapy for the time being. I would like to sincerely thank Dr Jamilah for everything she has offered me. I'm sure I will seek her services again some time in the future. But for now I feel ok, and I credit that to her.

I’ve been seeing her since 2013, and I can honestly say that finding someone who understands you and makes you feel as comfortable as she does is rare.

During a short break when she was away for her studies, I tried seeing a few other therapists, but I never quite found the same comfort and confidence that I’ve always had with her.

Over the years, I’ve worked through a lot of things with her, from relationship challenges to career struggles. What I’ve always appreciated is how every session helps me look at things from a different perspective. She has helped me understand myself better, manage my emotions, and handle difficult situations in a much healthier way.

I’ve always been amazed by her patience and how well she seems to understand me, sometimes even when I struggle to put my own feelings into words. Her guidance has always been thoughtful, honest, and completely non-judgmental. I’ve never felt judged, only heard and understood.

After all these years, I’m genuinely grateful to have found her. The trust and comfort I feel with her are something I haven’t been able to find elsewhere, and that says a lot. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who truly listens and makes a difference.
