Dr. Julide Sagiroglu

Dr. Julide Sagiroglu is a board-certified general surgeon and associate professor of surgery with over 30 years of experience in the field. Specialising in breast oncoplastic surgery, she performs all aspects of breast cancer management, as well as cosmetic and implant-based reconstruction surgery. Dr. Sagiroglu earned her MD from İstanbul University, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, Turkey, and subsequently passed the ECFMG/USMLE examinations. She further honed her expertise as a surgical research fellow at New York University, N.Y., USA, before completing her surgical specialty training at İstanbul Haydarpasa-Numune Research and Training Hospital, where she also obtained the Turkish Board in General Surgery.

Dr. Sagiroglu has advanced her skills in breast oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery through specialised training at the European Academy of Senology in Duesseldorf, Vivantes Clinic Berlin, and the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, Italy. She has also participated in various surgical training programs focusing on breast cosmetic and oncoplastic surgery, correction of postsurgical defects, and laparoscopic surgery.

Between 2010 and 2021, she performed over 2,000 breast and axillary surgeries, including oncoplastic techniques, at Medeniyet University Hospital Department of Surgery in İstanbul. Since 2021, Dr. Sagiroglu has been contributing her expertise in both academic and private health sectors in the UAE. She is also an active member of numerous national and international surgical societies.
