Dr. Hesham Gadelkarim is an experienced Specialist and the Head of the Internal Medicine Department at International Modern Hospital. With nearly 30 years of practice, Dr. Hesham has gained expertise in a broad range of medical conditions, including infectious diseases, chronic illnesses, and geriatric care. He received his MBBCh from the Faculty of Medicine at University of Alexandria, Egypt in 1986 and completed his Masters in Internal Medicine from the same facility in 1994.

Dr. Hesham has practised at several premiere hospitals and clinics in Egypt and KSA, and has been practising in the UAE since 2009 at various specialty hospitals. He is an active member of the Saudi Gastroenterology Association and frequently takes part in radio talks and newspaper articles, sharing his knowledge and expertise in the field of medicine.

Apart from managing chronic illnesses, Dr. Hesham also has experience in general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care, and radiology. He has also had experience in rheumatology and endoscopy, managing cases of osteoporosis, scleroderma, lupus, joint and muscle aches, and related disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Hesham is also efficient in guiding, overseeing, and performing a wide range of endoscopic procedures for various body parts.
