Dr Hassan S. Al-Hariri is an American Board-Certified Consultant in Internal Medicine specialising in Sleep Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. He is based in Dubai and currently sees patients at United Medical Center, Rashid Hospital and Dr Rami Hamed Center.

Dr Al-Hariri has over 30 years of experience in internal medicine having trained in the United States. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the prestigious University of Kentucky, United States in 1995. He became certified by the American Board in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in 2000 at the University of Louisville. He is a Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians, a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

He began his career in the United States and worked as Medical Director of Carb Orchard Clinic and Hustonville Pulmonary Care. He held several senior positions in the United States until 2005. In 2005, Dr Al-Hariri moved to the Middle East and joined Saad Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia as Assistant Chief Medical Officer, Deputy Chief of Critical Care and Section Head of the Pulmonary, Allergy and Sleep Laboratory departments. He moved to the UAE in 2011 and was appointed as the section head of the Sleep Laboratory by the Dubai Health Authority at Rashid Hospital and joined United Medical Center in 2016.

At United Medical Center, he offers pulmonary and sleep medicine consultations and performs both full sleep laboratory and portable sleep tests.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Al-Hariri has spent a large part of his career dedicated to humanitarian causes. He has also spoken at several international conferences and seminars in the field of Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine.
