Dr. Ashwini Banerjee is a Consultant Gastroenterologist practising at Elemental Day Surgical Centre, with more than 15 years of clinical experience. He graduated from medical school in 2004 and has gained specialist expertise in gastroenterology, alongside additional specialist training in General Internal Medicine and subspecialty training in pancreatobiliary medicine.
His career has spanned the UK and UAE, including experience within the NHS at the regional hepato-pancreato-biliary centre of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. His clinical interests include pancreatic, biliary and gallstone diseases, and he is highly skilled in advanced endoscopic procedures.
Dr. Banerjee has undertaken additional training in ERCP and EUS, pancreatic pseudocyst drainage, endoscopy and cardiac life support. He is JAG certified in OGD and therapeutics, as well as colonoscopy, supporting his expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic care.
