Dr. Akhtar Ali Syed is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with a specialisation in psychotherapy. He is also a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland.

With over 31 years of experience, Dr. Syed has worked as the Head of the Psychology Department with Brothers of Charity Services in Ireland for two decades. He has also held positions as a Visiting Clinical Psychologist at various organisations in Ireland. Throughout his career, Dr. Syed has developed two models of psychotherapy: the Eidetic Model of Growth for people with intellectual disabilities and Brief Trauma Therapy, both of which have shown efficacy through empirical evidence.
