Dr. Myrna Chawbah is a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist practising at the Department of Psychology at Medcare Medical Centre in Jumeirah. She holds Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Psychology from Balamand University in Lebanon. She also achieved a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology and Psychoanalysis from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, France. Dr. Chawbah is affiliated with organisations such as Forum Du Champ Lacanien Du Liban (FCLL) and Internationale des Forums (IF). She also serves as a member of the Psychotherapy Committee of the Lebanese Order of Psychologists.

With over a decade of experience in private practice, Dr. Chawbah has honed her expertise in various areas of psychology. She began her career by providing psychological support to Syrian refugees at the Psychological Emergency Unit for Syrian Refugees, sponsored by USAID. Later, she expanded her practice to include work with the Watan Organization for Syrian Refugees, where she focused on nurturing children's well-being through psychological and social interventions. Dr. Chawbah's commitment to education led her to concurrently serve as an assistant professor at the Lebanese University and the Antonine University.

Upon relocating to the UAE, Dr. Chawbah joined the Thrive Wellbeing Center in Dubai, where she continued to offer her expertise in addressing a wide range of psychological concerns. Her areas of specialisation include depression, stress, anxiety, phobias, psychosomatic symptoms, family and couple dynamics, infertility counselling, and PTSD. She is particularly skilled at providing support during IVF, pregnancy, and postpartum challenges, such as perinatal loss and attachment difficulties.
