Dr. Marwa Abd El Hamid is a licensed clinical and educational psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Ain-Shams University and has obtained diplomas and certifications from various international organisations, including the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).

Dr. Abd El Hamid has a diverse range of clinical experiences, working with individuals from different nationalities and backgrounds. She has worked as a delegated lecturer at the American University in Emirates (AUE), Middlesex University Dubai (MDX), and Alexandria University in Egypt. Additionally, she has provided counselling and psychological services to companies such as Vox Media, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (RTA), and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in Dubai.

In her therapeutic approach, Dr. Abd El Hamid values the importance of considering the client's religious, cultural, national, and personal background. She utilises various methods of modern psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Positive Psychotherapy (PPT), and Gestalt Approach (GA). She is also studying Schema Therapy for personality disorders.

Dr. Abd El Hamid works with individuals of all age groups, including children, young people, and adults. She provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families, and also offers group therapy when appropriate. Her areas of expertise include anxiety disorders, mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder), eating disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychotic disorders (including schizophrenia), substance-related and addictive disorders, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, self-harm behaviours, premarital and marital issues, low self-esteem and body image issues, and child/special need psychology (including cognitive disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, behaviour modification, and related disorders).
