Dr. Ahmed Doheim

Dr Ahmed Doheim is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with more than 15 years of experience in the management of paediatric orthopaedic conditions, including cerebral palsy, hip dislocation, tendon lengthening, paralytic conditions, and dislocated hips. Dr. Doheim specalises his practice in the treatment of neuromuscular conditions and paediatric trauma. He sees private patients at Sheikh Zayed Road Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital.

Dr. Doheim earned his medical bachelor's degree in Egypt and went on to undertake his master's degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics. After this, Dr. Doheim was appointed his house officer post at the Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, prior to being made the resident orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Doheim was also appointed as an Honorary Orthopaedic lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.

Dr. Doheim centers his practice around professionalism, ethics, and delivering a high standard of patient care. He currently holds 70+ consultations per week and 3 surgeries per week. He is also an active member of the medical education community and has regularly tutored and taught undergraduate and postgraduate medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. He is also dedicated to improving his knowledge and practice, and regularly attends conferences to stay up to date with the latest information in the field of orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Doheim came to Dubai to work as Orthopedics specialist in 2014 in Saudi German Hospital, Dubai and now is currently working in Medcare Orthopedics and Spine Hospital since 2019.
