Dr. Mohammed Almahmood is a skilled Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with more than 15 years of experience. He is experienced in a range of procedures, specialising in Endoscopic Spine Surgery, Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement, ACL Recon Endoscopic, Ankle Arthroscopy and Endoscopic Partial Meniscectomy.
Dr. Almahmood is highly qualified, he completed his bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from AlMustanseriya University Baghdad in 1978. Following this he obtained a Diploma in Surgery in 1986 and a Certificate of Arab Board in Surgery in 1989. In 2002 he became a Fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin.
Dr. Almahmood has also had numerous professional memberships, including the Iraq Medical Association, Iraq Orthopaedic Association, Kurdistan Doctor Syndicate, Emirates Orthopaedic Surgeons and the International Iraq Medical Association. He has many research publications to his credit and has shared his wealth of knowledge with medical students as a lecturer at Basra University.
