Dr Zoe Scounos

Dr Scounos is a Thoracic and Sleep Physician. Dr Scounos undertook undergraduate training at the University of Adelaide, completing it in 1995. This was followed by postgraduate training and basic physician training in a few of the major public teaching hospitals in Adelaide.

As a senior medical registrar in 2003, Dr Scounos undertook a sabbatical in far north Queensland, Townsville to manage an acute admissions department at the Mater Hospital. This facilitated tertiary acute referrals from a large geographical area including the Pacific Islands.
