Dr Yu-Hawke Lam

Dr Yu-Hawke Lam is a compassionate Dentist who is dedicated to providing outstanding oral healthcare to patients of all ages. He was drawn to the dental profession by a desire to make a positive difference in people's lives, finding a rewarding balance between clinical excellence and helping those in need. Known for his gentle and reassuring manner, Dr Lam is particularly skilled at helping anxious patients feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits.

Dr Lam completed his tertiary education at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2014 with both a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Dentistry. Committed to staying at the forefront of modern dental advancements, he has undertaken extensive professional development, completing additional courses in oral surgery, aligner therapy, and implantology. His diverse clinical background includes valuable time spent working with a mobile dental service, travelling across New South Wales to provide essential dental care to aged care residents and individuals with complex medical histories and disabilities.

While Dr Lam enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including routine cleans and restorative work, he has developed several key areas of clinical interest. He is highly proficient in performing root canal treatments and providing clear aligner therapies, such as Invisalign, to help patients achieve healthier, straighter smiles. Additionally, he has a keen interest in oral surgery, particularly wisdom teeth removal, and is experienced in managing dental emergencies and cosmetic procedures.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr Lam enjoys a variety of personal interests. He values spending quality time with his wife and caring for their two pet cats, Pippin and Raisin. He also enjoys playing board games and video games, exploring new dining spots around Sydney, and travelling.
