Dr Ye Myint

Dr Ye Myint, also known as Dr Edwin, is a highly accomplished and compassionate General Practitioner who is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Having practised extensively in both rural and regional settings across Australia, he has developed a profound understanding of the diverse healthcare needs of local communities. Dr Myint enjoys supporting patients at every stage of life, providing comprehensive family medicine that spans from neonatal care to aged care.

With a broad clinical focus, Dr Myint specialises in several key areas of General Practice. He has a particular interest in preventative medicine, lifestyle management, and the treatment of chronic conditions such as diabetes. Dr Myint is also highly skilled in skin cancer medicine, offering detailed skin checks and performing minor surgical procedures. His clinical expertise further extends to antenatal shared care, sexual health, men's health, paediatrics, cosmetics, and weight management, allowing him to provide holistic and reassuring care to all of his patients.

Dr Myint completed his primary medical training at the Institute of Medicine Yangon, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He subsequently pursued further postgraduate education, obtaining a Master of Public Health and a Master of Health Services Management. To support his specialised clinical interests, he completed a Diploma in Dermatology at the National University of Singapore, alongside certificates in child health and sexual health and family planning. Dr Myint is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of medical practice.
