Dr Yau Koh

Dr Yau Koh is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He thoroughly enjoys all aspects of General Practice, placing a strong emphasis on building long-term relationships with his patients and delivering consistent continuity of care. His reassuring and professional approach ensures that individuals and families feel supported throughout their healthcare journeys.

Dr Koh graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2004, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery alongside a Bachelor of Science (Medicine). Following his graduation, he completed his internship and residency training at major metropolitan hospitals, where he gained diverse clinical experience across psychiatry, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care, general medicine, general and orthopaedic surgery, and emergency medicine. He also served as a Senior Medical Resident at a regional base hospital. Dr Koh completed his specialist General Practice training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Throughout his career, Dr Koh has pursued advanced training to broaden his clinical expertise. His postgraduate experience includes working as a Registrar within a dedicated palliative care service, as well as completing a certificate in sexual and reproductive health at a specialised family planning clinic. In his daily practice, he focuses on managing mental health issues and is highly experienced in delivering tailored healthcare services for men, women, and children.
