Dr Yasin Shahab

Dr Yasin Shahab is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Shahab is passionate about the breadth of medicine offered within general practice, from preventative health measures to the management of complex, long-term conditions.

Dr Shahab completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2010, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Following his graduation, he undertook extensive postgraduate training across various hospitals in Sydney and regional New South Wales. He achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Shahab is actively involved in medical education and research, serving as a Senior Lecturer in General Practice at university level, where he mentors medical students and GP Registrars.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Shahab provides expert care in chronic disease management, with a particular focus on diabetes and respiratory health. His practice also encompasses musculoskeletal medicine, mental health support, weight management, and travel medicine.
