Dr Xavier Badoux

Dr Xavier Badoux is a highly qualified Consultant Haematologist who provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of blood disorders. He is dedicated to delivering personalised, evidence-based treatment plans for both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, Dr Badoux ensures that individuals and their families are fully supported throughout their diagnostic and therapeutic journeys.

Dr Badoux obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and subsequently completed his specialist training in haematology. He holds dual professional fellowships, qualifying as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA). Following his specialist training, he completed an advanced clinical fellowship in 2011 within a renowned international leukaemia department in Texas, USA, where he focused on novel therapeutic mechanisms and immunological changes associated with immunomodulatory therapies.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Badoux is actively involved in medical research and clinical trials. His primary clinical and research interests lie in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and lymphoma, particularly in exploring the benefits of novel targeted therapies. He serves as a Principal Investigator for several international clinical trials, contributing to the advancement of haematological treatments and ensuring his patients have access to cutting-edge therapeutic options. He also participates in multidisciplinary cancer care teams to coordinate optimal outcomes for patients with blood cancers.
