Dr Walid Jammal

Dr Walid Jammal is a highly respected and dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care to patients in Western Sydney. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of family medicine, with particular interests in paediatrics, men's health, and the management of complex health needs. Dr Jammal is deeply committed to patient advocacy and works collaboratively with individuals and families to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr Jammal completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Sydney, qualifying in 1988. Demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous learning and specialised knowledge, he also holds a Diploma in Child Health and a Master of Health Law from the University of Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). In addition to his clinical work, Dr Jammal contributes to the education of the next generation of medical professionals as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney and a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at Western Sydney University.

Beyond his direct patient care, Dr Jammal is a prominent leader in health system policy and reform. He has held several key advisory and board positions, including serving on regional health boards and co-chairing national primary care reform steering groups. His outstanding contributions to the development and improvement of the healthcare system have been recognised with prestigious accolades, including being named the New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory General Practitioner of the Year, as well as receiving the Sidney Sax Medal for outstanding contributions to healthcare.
