Dr Vinay Amlani

Dr Vinay Amlani is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Fondly known to many of his patients as "Vinnie", Dr Amlani grew up in Kenya before embarking on his medical career. He is deeply passionate about all aspects of General Practice, with a particular focus on delivering high-quality healthcare that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. His reassuring and approachable manner helps patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their health journeys.

Dr Amlani completed his medical studies at the University of Nottingham in England, where he was awarded his medical degree in 2010. Following his graduation, he completed his internship in Northern Ireland. He subsequently relocated to Australia in 2013, where he gained extensive clinical experience by rotating through various hospital specialities in regional New South Wales and Sydney. He then undertook formal General Practice training in regional Victoria between 2016 and 2018, qualifying as a General Practitioner.

Throughout his career, Dr Amlani has developed a strong interest in Aboriginal Health and has worked extensively as a relief General Practitioner in diverse regional and rural communities across Australia. In addition to his clinical work, he is committed to medical education and actively teaches medical students at local universities, helping to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. Outside of the clinic, Dr Amlani enjoys a balanced lifestyle and can often be found cooking, baking, swimming, or playing tennis and badminton.
